The silicone cord is flexible and hollow allowing it to fit to most knitting needles up to size 8 (5mm), possibly larger if the needle has a narrow pointy tip.
The photos show how to attach the cord to your knitting needle and slide your work over. Then you can try it on for size or set it aside and use your knitting needles for another fun project. You can also cut the cord if necessary for smaller projects.
